Katie Choy-Wong, Co-President
Katie is currently the senior pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship in Castro Valley. Prior ministries have been admissions director and instructor at American Baptist Seminary of the West, area minister for the American Baptist Churches of the West, national director for Asian Ministries, National Ministries, ABCUSA, assistant pastor and intern at Community Baptist Church, San Mateo, and the director of the Food Network, a ministry to the hungry and homeless for the Northern California Ecumenical Council. Katie is married to Arthur and has a college age son, Jordan.
Nancy Smith, Co-President
Nancy is senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Oakland.

Micky is Vice President of the American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley. She is a member of Shell Ridge Community Church in Walnut Creek.
Clark
Flesher, Senator
August 2007 marks Clark’s thirteenth anniversary as senior
pastor of First Baptist Church of Alameda. Under the church vision
of making fully devoted Christ followers in a growing multi-ethnic
extended family, the church has a paid multi-ethnic staff
team that includes a Chinese-American Associate Pastor, a Mexican-American
Youth Director, a Filipino-American Worship Director, an African-American
Music Director and Euro-American support staff members. The church
continues to grow in age and ethnic diversity. Clark has studied
at Bethel Theological Seminary, Alliance Theological Seminary,
United Theological Seminary, and the Summer Institute for Urban
Ministries in New York City. Clark was a pastor in New York City
before moving to California.
Donald Ng, At-Large
Don is the Senior Pastor of the First Chinese Baptist Church in San Francisco since 1998. FCBC, founded in 1880, is a bilingual, bi-cultural, and multi-generational congregation in the heart of Chinatown. Don served with American Baptist Educational Ministries in Valley Forge, PA for over 20 years. He is a trustee of the American Baptist Seminary of the West and a member of the Joseph Campbell and Asian American Clergy of No. California TIM groups. Don is a graduate of Andover Newton Theological School in Boston.
Ira Manning, At-Large
A graduate of ABSW, Ira is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Urban Ministries at San Francisco Theological Seminary in San Anselmo. He served as Interim Pastor for True Love Baptist Church in Fairfield and currently he serves as Chaplain for North Bay Health at Home and Hospice and is an Associate Minister for Shiloh Baptist Church in Vacaville.
