Membership

Membership in the Ministers Council of the Greater Bay Area is open to individuals who are ordained, commissioned, lay professionals or students in seminary. All members must be eligible for inclusion in the Directory of Ministerial Leaders of the American Baptist Churches in the U.S.A. and pay dues. Dues are divided evenly between the local council and the national American Baptist Ministers Council, and membership is held in both groups.

If for some reason you do not qualify in the above categories but still wish to be a member of the local Ministers Council, you may apply for special consideration. Contact the Steering Committe by using the Contact Form.

Dues:

• Regular membership: $50 per year
• Seminarian Membership: $25 per year
• Married Couple: $70 per year (if both spouses join)
• Life Members: dues are optional, except for members of TIM groups who want the study allowance (if you have a question, contact us)
