Emerging Ministry Resources
in the Greater Bay Area

Tuesday, October 4th, 2005, 11:00 am- 2:00 pm
Thornton Avenue Baptist Church
4500 Thornton Ave., Fremont

Join us and learn about significant resources for ministry in the Greater Bay Area: Redwood Glen’s Metamorphosis ministry and the association of ABC Greater Bay Area Churches. Following presentations by leaders of these two ministries we will have opportunity for small group discussion with colleagues on the challenges and opportunities for ministry in the Bay Area.

Following lunch we will hear an update on The Ministers Council of ABC and elect three officers for MCGBA for the coming year. An information table will provide forms for Together-In- Ministry (TIM) application and Ministers Council membership, various ABC flyers and brochures on ministry programs and events in the coming year. We will conclude our time with shared worship.

As an additional opportunity, you are invited to see the Church Communication Network (CCN) live broadcast, Revolution. Cultural analyst George Barna and media entrepreneur Michele Broquez will explore the explosion of spiritual interest that is reshaping Christianity today and the enormous shift in how Church views its role and expresses faith. This live broadcast will be from 8:30am to 10:30am. Donuts, coffee and juice will be provided.
