The Ministers Council of the American Baptist Churches, USA, developed the Covenant and Code of Ethics for Ministerial Leaders in 1937 and has revised it periodically to maintain a high standard for professional ministers. The Code of Ethics provides a guide and standard for professional behavior for Ministerial Leaders of American Baptist Churches.
